When we open new positions for our sales training program, we advertise them on our Shopify careers page, post them on this website, and send out notification emails to our e-list (which you can join here). You can then apply for that open position as you would any opportunity at Shopify.

Yes! Revenue School Associates will be on contract with Shopify and paid to participate in the four-month full-time training program. These positions train you for initial inbound and outbound sales roles.

We have previously launched cohorts in Canada, the United States, and the United Kingdom. When we open applications for a cohort, we will indicate where you need to reside, what legal authorization you need to work, and the language requirements in order to be considered.

Cohorts usually run twice a year, so please make sure you sign up for our email list in order to receive updates about future opportunities. 

Our cohorts vary in size and are between approximately 7 to 10 people. Associates in the cohort study on their own and together, so they can learn from and support one another through the program.

Since Revenue School is a full-time job during daytime hours, you’ll need to be able to make that time commitment for the duration.

This training is mainly intended for recent university and college graduates and people who would like to switch careers. Anyone can apply regardless of age, education, experience, etc. Check that you meet the requirements listed in the job posting.

Please make sure you fill out the entire application for Revenue School and include a current resume and answers to the application questions (why are you interested in sales and two prospecting emails). 

If you are chosen for an initial life story interview, you will be contacted by Shopify’s Talent team. If you are chosen for a follow-up interview, the Talent team will contact you to schedule a conversation with members of the program hiring team. If you are not chosen for interviews, you will still be contacted to let you know about the status of your application. If you are a high performer in the program, there is a possibility to build a career at a company that will continually provide you with opportunities for growth. Successful completion of the program does not guarantee full-time employment and is subject to a fair assessment of performance.
